Bah, this has been posted before, search the forums!
but yes, anything's possible with money, and no, you wouldn't want to do it, because neither Turbo's nor Superchargers are designed to compress already compressed air

Re: Has anyone ever tried... (johnisenglish)
I know of a Mustang 2.3T that's running an M62 and a Holset HY35.
The Holset is pretty peaky for that size engine, most 2.3's running that turbo alone leave the line at 5K which is aggressive rpms for those cars. The guy uses the blower for low end, then has a wastegate open the bypass valve once boost goes past a certain point (ie - the turbo has taken over).
The guy was supposed to go to the Junkyard Turbo Shootout back in Oct/Nov, but the event was cancelled due to weather. Last I heard, he was having problems with boost creep - he didn't want to run over 25 psi on the stock engine, kept creeping to 30+.
It can be done, and done well. It's an overly complex POS idea, though, and all that effort would just make a turbo engine that's faster.

Wrong web-board for theoretical conversation. They don't like it here for some reason. Wonder why.
Yes it's very possible and not expensive like everyone would like to believe. If you do the fabricating yorself, and no pay someone at a shop to do your work for you it's very affordable.
Just the "village idiot" speaking more eveil witch doctor speak. Please burn me at the stake for being a witch.
