It's not hard at all as long as you have a capable computer. We have kits that make it very easy to do the conversion. Any honda ecu based management system is not going to be capable of doing it, but most standalones will. AEM, Motec, Autronic, etc.

Depending on the power you're shooting for, it may or may not be worth doing. Anything over 500-600hp you could see a benefit in it. Less than that, a good single channel ignition system works great.

An AEM setup is a little over $2000 for the ECU, coils, CDI, and EPM. Add some more for the better sensors. I'm not excited about the cost but I'm going from an S300 to this in the near future.

checkout tony1's site in his signature. He was the one i was refering to when i said i know this guy who makes coil on plug kit (being sarcastic). if you don't want to switch to coil on plug you could try the m&w single channel ignition w/ crane ignition coil. From the things i've read about people who've used it, they say it's waaayy better than the msd ignition boxes. Tony1 also sells the m&w single channel kits too.

You get what you pay for. I've already heard of issues with the new stuff. One of my buddies went to the moroso race this weekend with one of their "new" CDI boxes and it died in the staging lanes, cost him a 750 mile trip.

There's a reason the more expensive stuff costs more..

Sounds like a DSM. Yeah it doesn't matter what it is that sux to spend hard earned money and a new, "state of the art" part fails on you before you really even use it. I'd be furious.

to anything M&W!! I've used it personally.
