Just wondering if anyone out there is running or seen numbers of a stock turbo Type-R. I have a stock JDM ITR Turbo, it put down around 250whp and just ran a 12.29 @ 115 on 6.5psi in my 99 si. I am thinking of getting a retune and was wondering who has pushed the limits on there ITR.

 

Many ITR owners DON'T push that limit of about 300whp or so on the stock engine. Either they realized that an ITR engine is best NA, they've keep that 300-320whp mark on the stock engine, or have taken it apart eventually and rebuilt w/ more stout internals. The 300-320whp mark or so is about the safest limit (for any longevity) on the ITR engine. There may be some outlyers to that whp amount, but not by much.

I have a friend who's been making around ~350whp @ 8psi for the past 2yrs, without any problems.
