Default Running boost AND trying to raise the redline? Possible?

Goal: Safely run 10psi, on a ZC motor, AND raise the redline to about 8500...

The parts:
New rods
New pistons
New valve springs, titanium retainers

will that be enough, or more parts need to be build?

I don't see why not. turn the boost up if you're going forged internals.

all about the head to raise it up to higher rpm, running more boost will be on the block

Yea that should be fine, just use good bolts...

new valvetrain allows higher redline....
if you only put new springs and retainers that will make the redline alot higher...
valves are a plus.

rods, more importantly rod bolts from strechting,

aka spun bearing

i doubt youll make too much power from 7500-8500 though

Well i know that the stock block can handle 10psi at its limit, so new pistons/rods will allow me to safely run that... even if i want to go higher boost i dont think my 14b will let me. Hypothetically tho, how much higher would i be able to go?

I'm looking at JG ZC Dual Valve Springs and Titanium Retainers, for a pretty good price, i heard of one guy, with some basic headwork (clean/port/polish) getting up to 9K without problem

Oh i know, i'd just like to have the option of doing so, whenever i upgrade to bigger turbo that will still make boost at that rpm.

stock rod bolts @ 9000 rpm = stretch=spun rod bearings!

There's just a lot more heat at that RPM with higher boost.

Even if this was safe, your head will need to flow enough to produce power that high. This means new cams and possibly port/polish. Remember this: Doubling the RPM's SQUARES the load placed on the bottom end, due to tensile loading, especially when the exhaust valve is open. However, adding more boost will add linear load to the combustion stroke...

Lol, the part about load being squared is from corky bells book. The exhaust valves and loading part I read on endyns site.
