Runaway H22
Just changed from a GT30 w .82 exh., to a GT35 w .82. The 44 Tial seemed to handle the GT30 just fine. Switched out turbos with everything else the same and the GT35 seems to overpower the Tial 44. The spring should hold it to around 10 lbs. but @ 7K rpms boost touches 18.5 lbs. I notice that other setups seem to do OK with 44 or smaller Tials. On other postings I've seen comments about it possibly being aggravated by odd wastegate installations. My setup is pretty much the normal straight forward looking type. I'm thinking of changing to a Tial 60.
Any feedback?
Built H22, Darton sleeves, Crower rods, Arias 10:1 pistons, Prodrive oil pump gears, stock cams, GE intake, Revhard exh., MSD digital 6, GT35, Spec Stage 3+ clutch, 70mm TB, SBC electronic boost cont. etc. etc.
E85, 505 whp, 383 wtq @7000 & 18.5 lbs when shut down due to boost climbing.

Re: (Bseriescivic5)
No problems were experienced with the previous GT3082 installation but I had similar problems with the same setup when initially using a SC61 prior to the GT30. That problem was the reason I changed to the GT30.
