Default rsx-s injector set-up problem? please help!

im posting this up on both hondatech.com and civicforums.com. On civicforums.com i have been told repetedly that under approx. 10psi boost you can run RSX-S injectors on my D17A1. after researching a fair amount i have found that most boosted 01-05 civics use these injectors if they are running lower then 10psi and have yet to come across any negative comments from using these and/or horror stories. after purchasing them, a friend of mine just playing around on CROME made a map which would replecate the one i would use on my civic. Upon doing this, he found that a 340cc injector would max out @ around 4psi. my question is if these injectors will work @ 8psi like i am planning and please explain why/why not.
thanks guys, appreciate your time and help!

I ran RSX-S injectors on my boosted d17a2 for 2 years @10psi and never had a problem with running lean or running out of fuel.I would not reccomend going past there because my injector duty cycle was at about 85%. But 8psi no problem, all day!

thats what ive heard, i just dont understand why when he boyd ran it in crome it was saying liek 90% at 4psi..... would a returnless fuel system do this? something to do with fuel pressure requirements maybe?

a guy in civicforums.com said it has to do with BSFC and HP not neccessarily psi of boost... he gave me a link to proper injector sizing....

ya, boost pressure is irrelevent here. It takes a certain mass of fuel to make a certain amount of Tq.

I tuned a d17 on AEM EMS and he had a mid sized hybrid turbo so his RSX injectors maxed out at 8psi. With a smaller turbo it would have been more psi.

ya, that will work, you can probably get 200whp if you have one of the bigger compressor wheels and a wastegate that dumps externally would be nice.

What exactly is your ecu setup?
