I have run into a problem recently with my idle. The car seems to idle fine for a few seconds, sometimes even 10-20 sec, then I get a quick rich bog and drop in idle RPM, sometimes it even dies. It is not a consistent surge, it is very erratic. It almost seems like there is a loose ground but I checked all of those. I am going to check my battery today as well as I have always had battery issues with my car and it has been a while since I checked it. I was also thinking a vacuum leak but I did not see any and that would cause a constant low/rich problem. I also get a little bog at times even when accelerating/cruising, but not as frequent or noticeable.

Do you guys know of anything else that may cause this?

 

Are you on open or closed loop?

 

I just started runing in closed loop last week. I had the problem when I was in open loop... that is why I switched it to closed. The problem has seemed to get progressivley worse over the last few days.
