Default Rod bearing failure inside (D16Z6)

Eagle rods, acl race bearings, std size, engine is built 2011 and has about 15K miles on it, including drag and circuit racing. 340Whp on E85, 15w-60 ester based race oil (i used redline 10w-40 before but pressure dropped to 45psi at hot)

Worst bearings were on 3rd. one rod bearing and main bearings was ok. Engine was plastigauged at build and clearance was 0.04-0.045mm. Engine had some misfire at high boost, and im wondering can it break bearings like this or is this lubrication problem?

Those bearings look like they lost oiling and cooked themselves to death.

ACL race bearings are kind of black at new? Rods didnt have any discolor.

Definitely looks like lack of oil lubrication by looking at the bearings...

What oil pressure were you normally seeing at operating temp @ idle?

About 20psi. Oil pump is ported, rev limit 7800. Even with this failure it had 15+psi at idle

Knock wore them away and then spun them, once spun, they wear.
