Default ring gap for total seal rings?

Do I use the factory ring gap tolerances for total seal rings or do I go a little bigger 'cause of boost (higher heat), and if so how much more.

Many thanks

Contact Total Seal. It should be on a piece of paper somewhere that came with the rings. If I remember on my JE's the ring gap was really small. something like .020 for turbo but I dont really remember.

I wouldn't use them at all. Send them back before you use them and get your money back. Total Seal rings are crap, they smoke in all three applications I've seen them used in.
good luck,
Jared

DO NOT(I REPEAT)DO NOT USE TOTAL SEAL RINGS PERIOD!
I PUT THEM IN MY H-23V-TEC.WOULD NOT SEAT.CALLED TOTAL SEAL,THEY SAID I DID NOT HONE CYLINDERS CORRECTLY.TOOK APART ENGINE,REHONED,
REASSEMBLED ENGINE,STARTED,AND WATCHED OIL DRIP FROM EXHAUST.
20 SMOKE BOMBS GOING OFF AT THE SAME TIME WOULD NOT PRODUCE
AS MUCH SMOKE(NO JOKE)! CHANGED RINGS TO ARIAS AND THE SMOKE WENT AWAY.

I hear Speedpro makes some nice Rings.

I'm doing extensive Reasearch on Ring Design, and am going to pick the bet for my application (upto 20psi, gsr turbo, daily driver\strip).

I suggest everyone does the same.

Thanks for the heads up. The rings are from Endyn. They came with their pistons. Yeah, and I've heard about the whole Endyn drama and I don't want' a flame war. I thought their rings were from total seal. However I think they may be from Wiseco (same as pistons) since I can't find anything contrary on their website. yeah yeah, I know I should of known this before I purchased

I agree also. My friend used them. He just removed them and the feel off of the pistons in pieces. Please send them back, don't pollute.
j/k

Go stock Honda rings.
