Default rifle drilling d16 rods

I'm in mid build on my d16z6 and I'm knife edging my crank but am worried about oil in the top end. Should I be worried about my wrist pins seeing as how the knife edged crank will have less rotational oil spray or will I be fine?

What pistons? Typically the pistons have holes behind the oil rails so that the oil that is scraped off the cylinder wall lubricates the pin.

Eagle rods and weisco pistons. I assumed id be fine, but someone asked me this question and I had no answer. Going with a "cookie cutter" setup on this one, because its my first build and want input from the millions of people who have done it before.. The way I figure is talk to the people who had it explode and figure out why, and talk to those whove had it run forever and figure out why. Have you run this setup before?

Wisecos usually have a pin oiling system. I haven't done this exact build, but I've used Wiseco pistons many many many other times and they have those oiling holes I mentioned.

A concern like this is usually best to be discussed with the manufacturer. At least then you may have the opportunity to speak with an engineer and not some random guy on the internet that may or may not have a clue as to what they're talking about.

leave the crank alone, its not all motor its turbo, better to have a little more weight and oil slosh thena weaker crank. The wrist pins should be ok though with the weiscos
