rich or lean?
how can you tell if your boosted d16 is running rich or running lean without a wideband? can you tell by how it sounds or how the throttle feels or how the car is running?
Wide band is the only true way my friend. I mean if theres excessive black smoke from your exhaust there your probually rich and if your boosting and running lean youll find out soon enought when your motor blows but the only real way is a wideband. Considering you have a turboed car thats probually something you want to invest in considerign thats very important.

check your plugs. If it's rich you can smell the fuel and probably see it,
also black smoke.
Lean you can feel it in the throttle. It wants to cut off while idling.
best way to tell is with a wideband as stated.
Why are you asking what do you have

i wouldnt risk guessing at AFR or boosting on a basemap, get that thing tuned.
at least you are headed in the right direction and actually have a chipped ecu. i was waiting for "i have stock injectors and ECU, why is my car driving like ***?"

then im sure your rich with a basemap. but the point of a basmap is just that a basemap It's the base and made to crank the car and run rich so it doesn't blow up on the way to get it tuned, not for prolong driving especially boosting. The only true way for it to be correct is to get the BASEmap tuned, there are no other options.
To answer your question, I'm sure your running rich with the basae map but ast certain parts of the RPM range it's leaning out.......get tunned

depends on your tuner. Dyno is better IMO a good tuner can do everything on the dyno.
