Default REV HARD Stage II --- oem kit parts = blows?

i was told by a few... that if i were to purchase the REV HARD stg II for my 98 gs-r i should ditch a couple of parts from the kit...
i remeber:
1. BOV
2. fmu
3. intercooler (i think!)

what else should be ditched? also with this kitt am i still in need of a aftermarket exhaust system? or would the kit take care of that for me? i know it comes with a downpipe i tink a 2.25 or a 2.5 and im not sure if i will need some kind of exhaust system or not and if i did... what would you h-t guys recommend? thanks in advance.

well, stock exhaust and any exhaust below 2.25 in will not be great for the turbo. Best to go 2.5 - 3.0 depending on your horsepower goals.

WTF! Revhard kits are among the best quality on the market. As long as they are still using the spearco cores KEEP the intercooler. As for the bov, well, there all the same really. Vortech unit bov is a pretty nice piece. Only thing you should really replace is scrap the fmu/inline pump for a hondata if u can get a good tuner. And replace the oil return line w/ some stainless steel lines and fittings from Flamenco-T. good luck nice choice on the revhard kit.

Revhard is a quality kit

The bov is fine it functions, looks good, sounds fine
FMu/missing link by all means if you have the funds hondata
Exhuast i would go with a 3" especially if you go hondata. I mean im assuming you'll want to make some power, and as we all know boost is addicting you will want more

are u still NA? NA the N1 is pretty loud and raspy. but once u put a turbo on it the turbo acts kinda like a seconed muffler. N1 w/ turbo sounds NIIIICE!!! Its the perfect exhaust for daily driver 250whp turbo honda. any power higher then that id reccomend stepping up to a Greddy PE2(70mm) or a Thermal(3")
