Default produced less horsepower w/ turbo at 5 psi...

i own a 98 prelude w/ a f-max turbo kit on it and i brought i to get tuned...

problem 1....i have a 7 psi spring in my wastgate (deltagate) and i am only reading 5psi... i checked all of the couplings and vac lines...all are tight and good

problem 2...at dyno on 5psi of boost my h22a4 put down 144whp....in intercooled form....why would this be happening...and how can i fix it??

where is the waste gate vacuum source? make sure it is behind the throttle body on the intake manifold so you can get proper pressure readings.

Why is it that I always hear horror stories like this from Prelude turbo guys. I think the prelude engines have a boost curse or something. Everyone that goes turbo on prelude motors has a hard time making power? WTF?

Would buy fully built honda engine's vtec or non vtec...

turbocharged, supercharged, or n/a....

already to go....for a good price???

for instance a b16....pushing 800 hp....turbocharged...

all assembled and ready to be swapped in...for $6000

of course fuel management would be up to you...

but how many would buy such a thing???
</TD></TR></TABLE>

ROFL... What happened to those 800whp crate B16s w/ turbo kits you were trying to sell for like 6k on Superhonda? I'm guessing you didn't keep one of those bad *** setups for yourself. You deserve 144whp jizz mopper
