Default retune w/ test pipe?

i seen this thread somewhere on here like a few weeks ago but i couldnt find it. every1 sed to retune cuz u may run lean. but i was thinking cant i just bump up the fuel to run rich. i also have a JG victor x manifold i want to put on but no $$ to retune i was also thinking about just bumping the fuel. My car isnt goin past 8k so should i stick with the victor x or get skunk 2 IM ? running only 10psi.

skunk2 IM if your staying around 8k. You could bump up the fuel, but thats not tuning it, thats just guestamating how much needs to be added. Why not wait a lil while to you can save up for an hours worth of tuning. Its only like 100 bucks. Work a weekend at McD's lol

blindly increasing the fuel isnt a good idea. You'll change something and have no idea how much you really effected the motor.
