Default Resistor Box Install into EK/ Hack Install question.

Sorry to be such a newb, i searched!I will be installing the hack this week and a couple of questions. In reference to this thread, especially the homemade diagram at the bottom. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=577749... i will have one wire coming out of the resistor box, running to the harness. Can i solder this one wire to the four coming from the harness? i will basically tie the four ends coming from the harness (originally going to the individual injectors) into one, and then connect that with the single wire coming from the resistor box. Am i good?

Also, i will be installing the vafc at the same time. With the blue wire coming from the vafc, should i just cut the o2 sensor (i believe that is what the blue wire is), and connect the wire from the ECU to the AFC and leave the wire coming in (towards the ECU) just hanging and tape it up or something? i dont understand how i can leave that wire dead and unconnected. TIA,

Alex, who will soon be boosted

Didnt you get the resistor box from me?
Did it only have 1 wire coming OUT of the OEM connector? Did you need any more wires for that connector? Installation is different from my OBD1 car but according to those directions you have to solder a wire from the clip into that connector. But if you dont have the OEM wires going into the connector you would have to remove the connector and solder onto after that.
Did I lose you? lol

PM me if i confused ya, or if you need some wires that still have the oem plugs at the end to clip into the connector, then you could solder onto those.

Alright, i have the resistor box with the connector on the end of it. There are five wires going into the connector, one red and four black. There is also one red wire coming out of the connector piece. I am thinking of chopping off the connector piece of the resistor box. This will reveal one red wire and four black wires. I am thinking that the four black wires go into the box, and then the red one comes out of the box, now yielding a resisted signal. I will then connect the red wire, onto the four wires of the harness. I will put the four wires onto the harness together (making one wire) and solder that to the red wire coming out of the resistor box. How about now?lol
