What is the wire that connect the sub to the box?
The wire that connects the sub to the box?? Only wire I can think of being in the box would be speaker wire.

| Speaker wire | Terminal

Ok, in my crappy drawing you can see that the speaker wire comes off the back of the sub and connects to one end of the terminal(inside the box) More speaker wire now comes off the inputs of the terminal(on the outside of the box) and go into the speaker outputs of the amplifier.
I know it's worded a little backwards, but that's the best I can do.
If you just look at the parts (terminal, speaker wire) you'll see what I mean quite easily. There is not much to them.

Thanks for the drawing.
I know I can figure it out very quickly, IF I open up my sub to see. But the way my box is design as an example, there is another connection from box to sub. The connection is way far from the sub location. So it does not connect directly from amp to sub.
Box is a perfect square with the connection at the rear opposite end of the sub.
[ ********* Inside the box ********* ] [ ******* outside the box ****** ]
Sub ---> Wire in Sub ---> Terminal connect ---> Wire ---- > Amp

hmm, as far as I can tell you just explained it to yourself.
I'll start at the amp and work my way to the sub.
Amp speaker out-------->speaker wire------->terminal input-------->terminal output------>speaker wire-------->sub.

Most terminals on speaker boxes( like the trminals you can buy at Radio Shack ) are male terminals, same for speakers( unless it has binding post, or some type of screw terminal ).
So a peice of wire with female terminals on both ends would be needed to connect the speaker to the terminal cup in the box.

Is he building the box? or does he already have one?
If building the box, he can buy those terminal cups from Radio Shack. They come in many different styles, but most I have seen use quarter inch spade connectors on the part inside the box.
He can simply buy some speaker wire and cut it to a length long enough to reach from the speaker to the terminal cup( add a few inches so you can connect it with the speaker outside the enclosure
)and crimp female quarter inch connectors on both ends. I don't know exactly what he has, but I don't think anyone will have the exact wire he needs made up.
