Re: resistor box? (Flava)
depends if they are peak and hold or saturated.
If they are peak and hold. Yes you will need a resistor box
If saturated then no you dont

Peak&hold injectors have a quicker responce then a saturated injector. For example a 750cc saturated injector at 400hp would be something like 85% duty cycle where as a 750cc peak&hold injector might be at say 78%. the more responsive the injector the better it performs. Thats why they dont make 1000cc and 1600cc saturated because they would be horribly slower then a peakhold.
basically with the hp your looking for and the size injector your running there is no need for a peak&hold. saves you the hastle of wiring in the resistor box, there just plug and play

Re: resistor box? (Flava)
Well according to the calculations you would need a 650cc injector. but every motor is different and depending on your base pressure is what size injector you will need.
Personally i would go with 1000cc's and a resistor box, this leaves you room in the future for upgrades etc... and they are just about the same price
If you dont want to take that route i would go with the 650's and a base static fuel pressure of 50 psi

i don't plan on making any more than 300whp.
i guess i'll go ahead and pick up a set of 650's then

On what calculator? I have made more than 300 whp on a set of DSM 450's before without going over 90% DC. Base fuel pressure was only 60psi as well.

i checked and precision only makes 580cc+ peak&hold/ low impendance..
but rc has Saturated (high resistance) 550, 650, and 750 cc/min AND
Peak and Hold (low resistance) 550, 750, and 1000 cc/min
