Honestly you don't have to, but you will be sorry down the road, I would just go ahead and get some ARP head studs and you should be straight. Remeber to toruq them down like 7-10 times when you put them in.

I've been always told you don't need to, so I reused. 860 miles later...blown head gasket. #8 bolt didn't seem to torque right.

I got ARPS now motor is running cooler that ever.

i would purchase AEBS head studs! You might as well as replace those factory head bolts.

try golden eagle, I think they distribute AEBS stuff
