removing the oil squirters
ive heard from a few sources that removing the oem oil squirters inside the block is not a problem and is preferred if running turbo, or other oil hungry setups....
that the oil squirters sole purpose is to cool the stock pistons - due to their physical composition, that metal retains too much heat, and thus needs oil splashed on the bottom to help keep things cooler....
but that will silicon/aluminum aftermarket pistons such as JE or SRP, that this heat retention is not a problem with the metals properties, and thus the need for oil squirters is wasted oil pressure that could best be reserved for higher pressure in the crank and head...
i would like to get some outside opinion and debates as to the legitimacy of this tweak...
thanks

You're understanding is correct. If you want confirmation from other sources, try engine building texts. That's where I find this and most of my info.
