Default Removing fuel filter on g3 integra....

I'm changing the fuel filter on my integra, but my piece of **** Hayne's book tells me that I have to relieve the fuel pressure first by removing the Banjo screw on top, and running the car until it stalls. My question is, would this be bad for my car considering I'm turbocharged? Or is my book just wrong, and I can just remove it and replace it with the new one? Because my friend's Helm's book doesn't say anything about running the car until it stalls.

All I did was remove the gas cap, relieve the pressure there...then changed it, easy as that. make sure you use the metal o rings, and tighten that down tight
