Car rev'd up by itself in cruise control...

Car rev'd up by itself in cruise control...
Last night, driving my integra at about 40mph in cruise control, the car started to rev up by itself. I was cruising at around 2500rpm, and all of a sudden, the needle starts accelerating up to 3500rpm and my car starts working its way into boost before I threw it into neutral and it went back to normal. It didn't rev up fast like if I were flooring it. It just started reving up as if I was pushing the cruise accelerate button. My feet were no where near the peddles, and I know that I didn't push the acclerate button on the cruise control.
Has anybody else had this happen?

Were you going up a hill? If so this is why. Also, are you running the hondata with the rev limiter hooked up?
