Default Redoing my turbo setup...

I'm currently running a Garrett t3/t4 turbo (63.60), Drag mani, Turbonetics Deltagate MarkIII WG (7psi spring), 2.5" piping, and running a p06 ECU chipped w/ Uberdata on a built bottom end on my b18b1.

I've been doing a lot of searching, and still have a few questions.

Right now, my current turbo is too big for my engine, I know. I don't spool until 4,200RPMs and I still have my stock redline (7k), so I'm only in boost for 2,800RPMs. I was going to purchase a GT30R dual ball bearing turbo, but I couldn't find any related topics with this turbo on HT. I want a fast spooling turbo that can efficiently make power to 7k. If this isn't a turbo you'd go with, what would you recommend? I'm also ordering the AEM EMS as far as fuel management goes.

I know I need a new manifold, and wastegate and I already have 3" mandrel bent stainless piping lined up. My optimal goal is 400-450whp on high boost. My main concern is finding the ideal turbo that'd suit my needs.

Sorry for the long post, but your comments/suggestions are appreciated.

Its not the turbo that's the problem, its the cylinder head.To get 400-450hp with a ls head is going to take some psi.Your turbo isn't far off to make those numbers. He's what it took a lsvtec to make those numbers. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1010357

Thanks. I've heard bad stories about LS/Vtec builds and how unreliable they are. Changing the head though, would be one option, since my turbo still makes great power all the way to redline.

Couldn't I expect the same results by changing the valves, retainers, and my rev limits higher on my current LS head?

Grrr, everytime I try to search for something, I get the same exact error message regardless of the search.

Error
