what is that red heat sheild tube that most cars in magazines use?
i need something to protect my oil inlet and water lines for my turbo.
any sejetsions and where can i buy that red tube heat shield stuff at?

i checked my summit catalog, nothing their.
i remeber seeing a site that sold the red sleeves they were like 2500 degree resistant, summit sales these slip stainless covers but their only like 700 degree resitant.
anyone know what the red ones are called or where to buy them?

Just a comment on "fire sleeve"and "heat sleeve" type shielding.I've see it used on wiring and ignition wires.The sleeving will take the heat,but it doesn't reflect the heat,and cooks everything inside.You probably need something more like stainless shields with air gaps to deflect the heat.
