Default Recommended Guages

I've never had a turbo in my car before. I've helped people install them but never on my own car. What guages would you recommend. i'm probobly gunna run an A pilar guage cluster with 3 guages. I was thinking boost(obviously), Exhuast gas temp, and oil pressure. Are these worth the money or would you recommend any other guages instead? Thanks

I think all you have mentioned are very important, and I have always ran those three with every setup I've built. Oil temp is another nice one, too.

Those three that you mentioned are the key gauges. Some people like to also have a AF gauge, but if you do get a wideband. I have k-pro so I wont need it.

WIDEBAND A/F (o2). narrow band a/f gauges are just for show

my factory water temp gauge works fine for me

you dont need a trans temp....

I am running Defi Boost, Water temp, Oil temp, Oil pressure and a PLX Wide band

there really isnt need for EGT unless you have one for every runner

I thought that was only if you're using an egt gauge to tune with? I don't think it's a bad gauge to have.

just for sake of not starting a new thread, I have an automatic. Would it be wise to invest in a tranny cooler?

It would be wiser to invest in an auto-to-manual conversion.

I also can't sell my car either. My parents won't let me. a trans swap is like 3 grand and i dont have that kind of money. I may be putting in a turbo but i got it for cheap and have been saving for a while. I know the deal with auto's vs. manuals. i'm just trying to do what i can
