Default Recommendation for SoCal engine builder

I picked up a used dissembled short block that I want to freshen up with new rings and bearings and have it hot tanked, balanced, honed, step decked and re-assmbled.

It's an LS block with Darton sleeves, Aries pistons, and crower rods.

What place is recommended in SoCal?
What is a fair price normally for such a job at a shop?

Tell you the truth Eugene @ Prostreet Import is probably the one who could make the most out of what you got right there. Hands down. If your looking at a couple different options make sure you walk into his shop. He knows what works and what doesnt. No matter how cheap other places are, its just not worth it to save
a few bucks for just a decent motor, you know.
