Default Engine Builder Recomendations

Hello Im planning to send my LS block away for rebuild. Looking to have it sleeved and rebuilt with new rods, pistons and hardware/bearings. This is for an N/A LS Vtec. I am aware of various companies such as Blueprint, Golden Eagle, Laskey, etc. They all seem to charge about the same for this service, about $3000. Does anyone have any first hand experience with any of these companies or others? Results? thanks.

Here is another. In the same price range. I think Laskey uses them.

If there is a machine shop in your area I think the best engine re-builder is yourself. You can cut your budget in half and have the peace of mind that it was done right (follow the helms manual).
I've done this with a GSR and LSv, and couldn't have been happier at the extra money and knowledge I had. And IMO: sleeveing a b seriese is useless unless your going FI, it's just a waste of money. If it were up to me to sleeve or not, I'd say f*ck it and buy a type r long block for around the same price.

Give us a shout and we'll get you taken care of. With you sending us your block and cranks, we'll sleeve it with out Superdeck I system plus assemble, balance and blueprint it with our B7 package for 3250.00. It's a really good package and we can have it for you in a couple of weeks once we get the block and crank.

Thanks guys for the replies. You guys at ERL sound cool I'll give you a shout. I know what you're saying will about not sleeving and building it myself... But Im looking for a high rpm 2.0 engine that I can race for at least a couple years. Im willing to pay the extra for a professionally built block.
