Guys with 2.5-3" exhausts- is anyone running a reasonator? How restrictive are they? How much quieter do they make things? Is it worth it?

I am not running a resignator(spelling?). I have a full 3 inch exhaust and it is deep, it does not sound like a fart can. It almost sounds as good as the wrx's when they put an aftermarket exhaust on

 

are you running through any muffler at all?

 

3" is loud...but that's just my personal opinion......resonators are a good idea if it gets too loud.....but yes they are restrictive....but you can say your muffler is restrictive as well....turbo apps best solution is no muffler

 

I run a 3" system with no cat or resonator. Just the turbine, 3" stainless Flowmaster Deltaflow 40, and length of the piping restrict the system. It is on the loud side, but very deep-toned. I can live with it. I think it sounds good, very aggressive sounding. It is something to make the local rice-boyz go hmmmm!!
