Re: re-sleeved block (H23ludedude)
i'm in the same process too, but h22, and golden eagle seems to get good marks. depending on what you need, exactly, it's 700-1000 bucks. shipping would be around 60 each way by UPS ground.

Re: re-sleeved block (GSR_Hacker)
I sent my B18 to GE
sleeving $750
bore and hone to pistons $125
shipping there $44
shipping back $45
I'm not positive if the cost changes between B and H series engines.

Re: re-sleeved block (SLPR)
Whats involved in re-sleeving? Do they press out the stock sleeves and repress in the new, or is there more?
Just wondering why everyone sends them out to be done, 'cause I have no idea.

Re: re-sleeved block (dlplayboy)
when your resleeving the block, you have to put all new stuff. Theres no point in reusing the stock rods and rings back again. Lets just say, if your in the level of reseleeving your block, this is already an extreme modification and is not for the regular racer.

If your at the level of sleeving, you are probably increasing bore size as well or turbocharging. So you would replace your old rods and pistons with better performance units.
