Default f22 half *** built block

how would a f22a6 hold reliably if it was block posted and had after market rods in it with stock pistion and new gapless rings, I was thinking in the range of 12-14 psi, but I thought I would give the idea up to the FI guys

i dont know what you mean by the block posted. also im not sure about the f22, but h22 ring lands are the weak part of the engine. if you only have money for one, get pistons and see if h22 rods will work...or save a little more and get pistons and rods...there not that much compared to a full build

can t just use aftermarket pistons in an h series block. it needs to be sleeved to do that. you should be able to get by w/ posting and stock pistons..but since pistons are weak link...save up.

I think hes talking about drilling holes in the block and inserting posts that secure the sleeves to the sides of the block. Larry at endyn had some pics of this up on his old forum. I think its a pretty good idea to stop the sleeves from shifting. The problem might be the actual strength of the sleeves though. I dont think 12-14 psi would create as problem as long as its tuned right... Although im merely quesstimating here.
