RC Injectors Question
i got me a set of 370 RC incjectorrs for my D16A6 SOHC non-vtec motor, its a OBD-0 , is there any re-wiring that i need to do, inorder to get them to run properly, because it feels like my car is about to stall off everytime i release the gas pedal, and every once in a while check engine comes on. i was thnking that it might be a wiring issue or something, i heard that those with OBD-1 ecus needs rewiring but do the OBD-0 needs too also?
thanks ahead for any imput

Re: RC Injectors Question (ldanphanl)
To run any injector larger than stock, you'll need fuel management such as AFC, SMC, standalone, etc.
The factory ecu is not equipped to adjust for injectors that flow roughly 50% more than stock. It can handle adjusting a few percent here and there, but not 50% difference.
You need to be using management to compensate for the injector size. The SMC, AFC, etc, will do this correction for you. You can use the management to correct minus30% (example) across the RPM range, to bring your 390cc injectors back down to 230cc where they should be (assumption here is that your stock injectors are 230cc).
Then later, when you add your turbo, you can have your management allow those injectors to open up as needed depending on where your boost comes on at. You'll keep them corrected down to stock levels whe you are not boosting.
Hope that helps.
As for impedance, low = 2-4 ohms and high = 10-12 ohms. You can measure impedance with an Ohm meter. Check here for instructions on how to measure - http://stores.ebay.com/Tuner-T....html

Ignore this. Crome is for obd1 cars... not obd0.
If you pm6 is chippable... 90-91. YOu can chip it and run TurboEdit.

As it stands... you can't run those injectors on your car without management... period.... it'll just run like crap... if at all.
