Injector Question, saturated and peak and hold
ok i have a 90 hatch with b16, pr3 obd0 ECU, i am dropping a new motor in it which requires bigger injectors, i am keeping the obd0 wiring and resistor box, my question is: what kind of injectors do obd0 1st gen b16a's run peak and hold or saturated... since i will be running obd1 RC 310cc's which i believe are saturated, what would i have to do to run these in case the car runs with peak and hold injectors...... or should i just get peak and hold injectors ... also how can i check to see if i have peak and hold or, saturtated injectors
thanx a bunch

Put an ohmmeter across the two contacts of the injector plug and see what it reads:
1.7 - 3.0 ohm = Peak and Hold
10-16 ohm = Saturated
If the stock injectors are saturated the ECU wont be able to run peak and hold injectors, but if the stock injectors are peak and hold its possible to run saturated injectors.

Not to be a thread jumper but, so that I don't have to start a new post I'm going to repost this question. It states that it is possible to change-ovet the injectors...but my question is has anyone done this and what does it take. I know what it takes to swap from saturated to peak and hold, but any info on how to do the swap vice versa would be appreciated. Thanks
You want to know what it takes to go from peak and hold to saturated?
Remove the resistor box. Cut the wires at the plug and solder(sp) together.

Hopefully this site will help answer your question: http://www.msdignition.com/fuel_3.htm
which wires are you supposed to solder together to get rid of the resistor box..? have any useful sites or links on the "how-to" of this ?
If I remember correctly, there are 5 wires at the resistor box, 1 red(power source) and 4 yellow with brown tracers. All 5 need to be soldered together. The red one is what supplies the power to the box and the 4 yeller ones go to the injectors.
