Default RC injector question

i know this question has been beaten to death and i apoligze for whipping the dead horse but i need advise. i have 2 different size intake manifold seals for my edelbrock victor x, RC 750's and AEM fuel rail, 1 is fatter, it doesnt let the rail sit very low on the studs and has a large gap between the rail spacer and rail (this is with the injector on-top of the seal and not inside). the other is skinnier and makes the injector sit lower in the boss (but still on-top of the seal) and leaves a much smaller gap (maybe 1/8" between the spacer and rail, is it okay to use the skinner seal (i ordered it from honda off a b16a2 00 SI)? it should tighten up real nice with the nuts torqued down but i just dont want it to leak. any suggestions

this is a rough example of the size difference of the 2 intake manifold seals

it kinda sounds like the problem i had (and many others) with the injectors not wanting to fit into the spacer that goes into the IM. if it is, all you have to do is take some material out of the inside of the spacer so that the injector will fit inside it. you can use an x-acto knife or a dremel tool. the injector needs to be inside those seals not on top of them
