Is it normal for a 44mm gate on a ramhorn to hit the rad support? I have to cut the bottom piece off the rad support, a good sized chunk to get it to clear, is this normal? If I would have known that the afi hit I would have looked at a different brand.

Engine, chassis, and mounting brackets can all result in what "should" fit, not fitting. I'd contact AFI and see what they have to say. I'm sure it shouldn't hit, but I'd imagine the reason it does is because of those variables. It also could be a result of bad workmanship, but I'd think we'd see a lot more threads if AFI consistently made stuff that didn't fit.

yes i would recomend u take a cutout wheel and just cut it out, or pound it in... eather way i have a ramhorn as well, and there is about 1 inch clearance between the core support and the wastegate, the mounts are polyurethane. my manifold cracked do to wg hitting the radiater core support. had to take it all apart today, outlined the part and just cut it out. make sure u mark it with a sharpie, i took out at leas 4 inches of metal about, iam getting about 2 inches of extra clearnace on the wg now. just need to weld it up. save urself some time and do it now before it starts cracking and u will get some major boost lag.

I bet I only have about a 1" of clearance after I cut it out unless I cut the top and bottem of the rad support but thats not going to happen.
