Default rain and turbo

i did some searching but it dont have the answer im looking for. so my question is that when driving in the rain, the water wont mess up the turbo as long as water dont get in the motor and hydro lock.

the only way it will screw up is if you piping suck in water through the intake tract and hydrolocks your motor. You must be really crzy to be driving in flood.

There's no question there, just a statement.

The turbo will be fine, and it really won't get all that wet under normal conditions (ie. w/a hood). Small amounts will vaporize, turbo = very hot.

you think all these people who have turbo stay in on rainy days i wish it was like that, but unfortunately most of us have to expose our precious cars to the rain

common guys ! Why it could be bad... it is like any car... the baddest things is that your new turbo could rust a little bit and you will get a dirty engine bay ...
