Quick yes/no question...
Air is blowing through my oil cap when i open it while idling...Would this mean that my rings are shot/f*cked? Doing a compression test in a little bit when my dad gets home, so i guess that will let me know, but i'm just wanting to know ahead of time...

there should be smoke.. out the oil cap or breather valve.. but do a compression test even if theres no smoke.. better to see signs that way before it blows up..

ok well i did the compression test and here's what i got...
from passenger side to driver side
165, 160, 180, 160
When i went to take the spark plugs out i noticed the far right one on the drivers side was loose...so i thought that was the cause of the air coming out of the oil cap, but after i did everything, there's still air coming out of it...
anyone have any ideas?

the loose plug wouldnt cause the air. was the motor cold/warm/or hot when you did the compression test? those numbers seem low...what motor is this?

combustion chamber leakage is normal (crankcase pressure) you can always do a compression and leakdown test to see how much leakage there is, and determine if there is in fact a problem.
is there a how-to on how to do a leak down test? never done that before...
just checked my PCV valve and its still fine...i can still hear it making the clicking sound when i shake it...i just cleaned it up a bit and theres only a little bit of air coming from the cap...that normal?

There is always going to be a little crankcase pressure even at idle. Now if it is smokin bad out the crankcase breather then you probably have a problem. run the compression test once more, your numbers do seem a little low make sure you crank the engine over several times then I usually stop and crank a few more after that
