I have a b18 motor wit civic SIR pistons in it and was wondering would it be ok if i run greddy 18g turbo w/ intercooler on it or should i jus put the integra pistons bac in? and im only goin to be pushing bout 6-7psi.

which integra pistons do you have? If you've got LS pistons i would use them because they are lower compression. just be sure to be careful with the higher compression and turbo. Detonation will ruin your engine before you know it!

 

You will be fine with those pistons as long as you get the car tuned right. If you are gonna run some crapy fmu then swap those ls pistons back in. If goin for better fuel management then keep the sir pistons. Just remember more compression will give you power but less margin for error.

using the LS piston would be safer, and like he said. more margin for error.

 

if im runnig a greddy g18 turbo kit with intercooler and apex i exhaust what extras would i need for the turbo to work correctly.

 

its a stock ls motor
