pistons
I have an ls vtec b18 with b16 head. I have the ls pistons (lower compression). I want a little but more pull so i was wondering if i could swap gsr pistons in, and notice any differnce. Another question is I plan to boost within the next year or so, and are gsr pistons safe for boost at a higher compression, or should I just stay with the ls pistons?
the reason you get more pull from swaping pistons is that you are increasing the compression ratio. If you boost you will want to lower the compression ratio. If you run a high compression piston and boost you run into reliablity issues as it's not good for the motor, unless it is tuned all the time and run on race fuel.

Use ls pistons if you gonna boost it , arp rod bolts is a good advice like our friend just mention, try to consider some H-BEAM rods for that set up and arp head studs also, good luck
