quick t bolt question
yeah so I ordered a bunch of t bolts and they arrive for me to find... they dont fit.
so I am now the biggest moron cause I did not account for the thickness of the silicone couplers... so you really need to run about a 1/4 bigger t bolt than charge piping size? I am pretty sure that will do it, but after 30.00 in t bolts being useless now I am wanting to double check.

Re: quick t bolt question (PLRacer)
do you have to get t-bolts....i just want to use ones from homedepot. Are they really going to blow off more or cut the silicone? I mean it's a 20 dollar difference

Never had a problem with T-bolts. I have read of problems with regular worm-drive clamps.
I used T-bolts that are at least 0.25" larger than the pipe I am clamping to, because the wall thickness on most silicone couplers are 0.125", increasing the diameter needed by 0.25".

I almost had the same problem you did. I forgot to account for the thickness of the couplers and when I remembered, I quickly called them the next day to change my order.

yeah you really dont have to have t bolts but I want the extra protection as I start increasing boost levels.
least I am not the only one to do this.
