Default quick question on exhaust system

What would be the best type of exhaust to use with a turbo Integra? I was searching "turbo back exhaust systems" on google but found ones that weren't compatible with DC2s. Do I have to make my own or are there kits out there for this?

Also, if I can't find a suitable exhaust system, is staying with cat-back and taking a hit on power an option?

EDIT: looking mainly for kits if at all possible...doesn't look too good

Check out the Sponsor's Only Forum on this very site in the Forced Induction section. The Thermal R&D 3" exhaust kits for the DA & DC Integras are really nice. Skunk2 has 3" kit available now, as well.

You can also check out www.kteller.com, they have nice complete 3" kits for the DC chassis, and piping kits as well, that come precut with all necessary hardware (hangers & flanges).

I ran a Thermal 3" kit on my old stock LS Integra setup, and loved it. I chose to run a high flow Magnaflow cat, but I'm gonna run catless with the new setup, as most people do.

kteller is pretty much THE way to go.

try to stay catless if you can, as a cat will kill spool times.

thermal makes a nice 3" muffler but me personally I just run straight pipe.

dude juss go straight all the way out. its not going to sound exactly like open downpipe but it will be LOUD. i have it now. its 3 inch crouch bend (after my custom mandrel bent downpipe) no muff. no cat. loud but no real exhaust flow restriction

A muffler is not going to restrict exhaust flow. This is a big misconception.

You don't have to do a resonator, I just threw that in, because you said you don't like the sound. 3" piping from the turbo back, & a muffler will do just fine.

Slip fit, so you can use clamps to install, add a vibrant muffler and call it a day, in stock (FYI)
