Quick question about Oil pressure/temp gauges.
You guys are probably running these.
I just hooked up my senders today (apexi so everything's metric which I can deal with).
What temp is your oil usually? What temp would be 'too high'?
What pressure is your oil usually? What pressure is 'too low'?
I know this will go up and down while idling/differenet driving conditions.
you can give me American numbers or metric, I can convert them myself ok.
Thanks FI!

Re: Quick question about Oil pressure/temp gauges. (coil222)
I have a Hayne's (not helms) manual and it states oil pressure should be:
10 psi @ idle
50 psi @ 3000 rpms
I was also told if the psi increases with engine RPM you should be OK.
My car is around 25 psi @ idle and around 75 psi driving around
I dont know what is considered normal for oil temperature, but my gauge is usually between 180-210 degrees F... I posted a Question on this too, but got like one response... go figure.

Cool, thanks for the anser.
Temp was the one I wanted to know more about in paticular.
Sounds like im right around yours.
I was ~80 until I warmed up to 100 and a peak of 110 yesterday.
