Default Quick question about Brakes and Forced induction

As I understand it the brake booster works off the intake vacum, so how do the brakes work if there is positive intake manifold pressure due to turbocharging?

n00b question I know but search didnt seem to work no matter what I typed in.

there is a check valve, but at w.o.t. anyway there is no manifold vacuum. so with boost, or at w.o.t. there is still no assist. the check valve keeps a little vacuum in reserve to use under w.o.t.
