quick question about boost pressure
i have a drag gen 3 turbo on my LS. i had to take apart and reassemble the downpipe, turbo and manifold due to loose bolts. i just finished putting it all back together and i have the car on jack stands. none of the wheels are touching the ground. i decided to test out the boost pressure and check from my gauge. will the car not being on the ground cause the car to not build any boost? reason is i just tried and the gauge does not read past 0 psi at all. im hoping there's not another problem with my turbo. i dont think i missed any reinstallation parts. i double checked to make sure everything was connected. so anyone with any experience on this, please help.

If I understand you correctly, you tried building boost by reving the car out with the wheels off the ground? A bit dangerous, but nonetheless, an engine needs to be under a load to expend the energy for a turbo to make positive boost pressure. They are not rpm dependant. A few cars might have made boost, but most would just go up to 0 psi or low vacuum.
