not getting boost need help

Default not getting boost need help

ok im kind of new to the whole turbo setup and ive been doing alot of research and i have everything all setup in my car i have a t4 60trim turbo with a top mount on my ls with an external WG i checked for boost leaks found a couple and got them all squared away but im still not hitting boosted im not sure what is wrong could it be the WG it 10 psi spring and im not sure if it has to be ajusted or how to do it

if anyone has input let me know the turbo is brand new so its not blown

Yes I have a boost guage it reads.vac and when I go to boost reads 0 and sometimes 1

its on jack stands i have it in 2nd and i hold the breaks to put pressure on the wheels but still even at free rev why wouldnt it boost

a t4 isnt going to spool unless you have it under a load. Holding the breaks and reving your motor isnt going to make it spool

WOW, it's never going to build any readable boost on jackstands. There has to be a load on the motor, like the car being driven full throttle. DRIVEN, not on jack stands.

thats a big turbo for a stock motor. what is your power goals ? Is this motor bone stock ?

yea its stock i wanna run 12 psi i got it cheap so i was like whatever and threw it on

Dont set a psi goal, set a power goal. Your tuner will use whatever psi your setup will give him to make that goal.

What motor is it? Post your setup.
