Re: Quick question
there will not be a solid review on such a turbo because the quality is less than the major brands. also its new a company, sort of, so do you want a 3-5 year with 50k miles review or 5 months 2-4k mile review?

Re: Quick question
X2 I could tell you from my experience at 4k miles had no problems but it was made by cxracing. Running an oil restrictor will also prolong the life of the $150 turbo.

Re: Quick question
Really the correct use of the term is more of a regulator. It regulates the amount of oil pressure and volume that enters into the oil passages of the turbocharger's center cartridge. These oil passages are what lubricate the bearings of the turbocharger so that the bearings themselves can "float" on a film of oil between the bearings and the turbine's main turbine shaft
Here's an image of the center section from the U.S. Patent office (Patent # EP2065564A2)
Patent information about turbochargers you should read as further knowledge. This literature refers to turbochargers as a "turbomachine"

Re: Quick question
it would help others if you could change the title of your thread to EMUSA Turbo Kit Reviews, so we can keep information consolidated to this thread and make it easier to search.
