First get the specs, then post them. Also, find out how long it was used check shaft play on it (you know, side to side and in and out, called axial and radial) and post the results as well. I'm sure that with that info someone will give you a guesstimate price of what you should offer. GL.

btw - your nick, I think you fat fingered it when you were typing it......Alucard.

Unless of course you are of some unique ethnicity and it's spelled correctly, if that's the case, my bad, I'm a dumbass.

10-4 on the name.

Shaft play is where you grab the nut on the compressor and lightly push it back and forth to see if it moves a lot. The right way to do it is to use a dial indicator and see exactly how much play it has then compare that play to the manufacturers specs for the turbo. If the the play is to large then the turbo will have to be rebuilt. The play comes from the bearings inside the turbo wearing out. If there is a lot of wear there will be a greater of play when you move the shaft side to side and in and out. Side to side is referred to as radial play and in and out play is referred to as axial play (I might be backwards on these two, but I think that's right). I believe the side to side play is due to the clearances of the journal bearings (in your case, because the turbo is not ball bearing, most likely not ball bearing anyway) and the in and out play is due to the clearances of the thrust bearings. GL.

This is all from my meager understanding of turbos, so it is by far not the law.
