Default Quick Help needed about my setup...........

Ok - i have a JDM h22a.........

Getting ready to go with:

Eagle Rods
Mahle Pistons
and a block gaurd........

Boostin with a Garrett t3/t4e 60 63ar...........
And will be having it tuned with my S300 <-- on the way....haha!

Would I be safe boosting 12psi daily?.........Or what would be the max you would go?

I saw in an archived post that the H series sleeves are just as strong/if not stronger than B series because we have fiber reinforced sleeves.......

Now, I'm going with the Mahle GOld Series pistons - so i won't have to sleeve my block just yet........
Some people had problems, others haven't.........

The pistons are going to be 9:1 cr by the way.....

If you have pistons and rods, crank the boost. Thats why your putting in em right? As long as you have someone tune it, or you feel confident with your own tunning skills Id say 15psi daily and 20-22psi on race/trackday/weekends. Whats the point of bulding a motor if you cant run a lot of boost and make power? Thats just my opinion tho.... What kind of power are you wanting to make?

Good luck

This is just my ***** and giggles motor

I'm going to buy a bare block and build it pretty soon. In the mean time, I just want to boost my current engine - hopefully to make around 300whp and similar torque......

I'm just basically wanting to know if the sleeves would hold up.

And I'll have Joe Demaree tune my vehicle - he's the best in this area

Well if your getting a spare block, then turn up the boost until you run out of fuel to make power or your turbo maxes or you make 300whp. Thats what Id do. Ive always wanted to boost an H/F series block.... Its all in the tunning man... It really is. One-fabs stock H22 that made like 500whp on stock inernals and never blew...
