Default quick dsm injector help, middle of install

ok, the injectors (450cc) r in, just wanted to know what i should set the safc at. i dont have the turbo installed yet, i just wanted to save myself some time for next weekend wen i install the kit...i figured -46 since thats what it would b stock rite? i set it at that, but it idles really low, and i get a metal sound wen i accelerate kinda hard (detonation?). do i need to set it up at -40 (same settings as when turbo is in)?

i'm not sure if you can hook it up without the turbo. you have already set it very low at -46 and you still have that metal sound so i guess it's not a good idea to run it this time. why not just wait til you got the turbo just to make sure nothing bad will happen to your engine when you drive it now.

ive found low idle in the past to be due to leanness and a little higher idle from running rich. even when NA i had to lean out my idle to get it to lower idling high.

You can run this setup w/o turbo. I am currently running it. my settings are -35% lo, and -20% high. I'm sure i'm hella rich at WOT, but I really don't care...turbo going on soon enough... when in doubt just play with it. I had to toy for a while...you'll get it.
