questions on the AFC hack....
im considering switching from the greddy blue box to the afc hack, i've been searching for a v-afc, but have been told to do the hack with an s-afc. what are the advantages and disadvantages to doing a s-afc instead of a v-afc? BTW, this is on a 2000 gsr with a greddy 18g
the safc is more tweakable with its settings ... like being able to modify the tps voltage...
you can run the blue wire mod to monitor your a/f voltage with the safc.
if u dont plan on messing with your vtec engagement point invest in the safc or even safc2
ps. i run the greddy sohc kit with the vafc hack w/no problems... except for the bucking but thats normal with the hack

Please let me know if Im wrong, but why would he care about TPS voltage? The VAFC does display throttle. He isn't going to know what voltage translates to.
I vote for a VAFC to change VTEC if he plans on smoothing out a power curve IF needed on a dyno.
