questions about turbos...
Im in the process in doing some research about building boost for a turboed d16z6, and beginning to be confused. What are some easy and cheap steps I can take in achieving around 12-15 lbs. of boost? Port and Polish head? wastegate spring? thanks for the input, much appriciation??
Your best bet is to search on Honda-tech. Alot of info you'll need will be found Here on H-T...
Btw: you're lucky i'm nice. Some of the guys here will bitch at you for this.

damn and I was just about to flizzzame. Yeah man do a search. You can get 20 psi w/o a port and polish. Just start simple with a junkyard turbo. If you get a kit, make sure you have room to uprade later. But start off small if you're new to turbo. You'll be happy if you do it right. But if you know you're gonna boost 12-15, I'd suggest investing in some forged robs and pistons before you ever put your 1st lb of boost though your motor. That way, if you get a kit and you have it up to say, 9psi like me. You can up it to 12-15 cause you already have a solid block. Make sure you tuned the hell out of it at that high of boost.
remember, start small. It's a d16 right? Try going to http://htt://www.turbod16.com they're all d series guys over there.
