I'm thinking about turbocharging my '00 SOHC Civic, but I don't know TOO much about the technical side of turbocharging. I was thinking of going with a Turbonetics T3/T4 Hybrid. Pricing I found for the turbo was $850 (roughly). Is that a good sized turbo for my SOHC? Also, what other items would I need for a basic turbo setup? Approx. how much would those other parts run me? And what would you guess is a rough estimate for installation?

 

It will most likely cost more to piece together a kit than to just buy one as a whole. I was going to put together a kit but after figuring out what everything will cost, it came out to over the price of a DRAG III kit. If you shop a round you can defiently find bargains here and there but in my opinion it is better to go with a kit. Check out the Importparts.com group buy, they rock. I have heard installation costs ranging from $300 to $600 but it really isn't that hard if you have access to some tools. If you have questions there is more than enough info on this site.
